  • Instructions

    • Prepare A Dozen Cousins Caribbean Coconut Rice according to pouch instructions.

    • Drain block of tofu and pat dry with paper towels. Lay 2-3 paper towels down on a flat surface.

    • Place block of tofu on top. Place another 2-3 paper towels on top of the tofu. Place a heavy object, such as a plate or cast iron pan, on top of the tofu and allow to sit for 15 to 30 minutes.

    • Optional: You can press tofu for up to 1 hour or longer if desired.

    • Remove tofu from under the heavy object and pat dry once more.

    • Tear tofu into about 1 inch pieces and place into bowl. Cover with cornstarch and mix until each tofu piece is evenly coated.

    • Heat oil in a medium skillet over medium heat. Add tofu to the pan in an even layer and sauté for about 15 minutes, or until golden brown. Stir around occasionally to crisp all sides evenly. Add 1 pouch of A Dozen Cousins Jamaican Jerk Seasoning Sauce and stir to combine. Cook for an additional 5-10 minutes.

    • Fluff Coconut Rice and serve alongside Jamaican Jerk Tofu.

    • Garnish with avocado, green onion, and lime.
